Over time, VA health care has changed significantly.  In recent years, legislative changes have dramatically enhanced veterans' health care benefits as well as access to those benefits.  VISN 23 strives to provide information and updates to all veterans, their families, stakeholders, and employees through our publications.

The FY 2007 Annual Report addresses how VISN 23 measured in performance through the 2007 Patient Satisfaction Survey, workload and financial report, performance measures, updates on services we provide, and improving access to those veterans in rural areas.

The V23 Strategic Plan provides information on the environmental assessment, market position, financial impact, and capital assets (major and minor construction plans).  The Strategic Plan also provides information on VISN 23's focus for the future through different health care programs, disease management, home based care and initiatives in quality, access, satisfaction, workforce, cost effectiveness, research, education, and healthy communities.

The Veterans Guide to Health Care provides veterans and their families with the information they need to understand VA's health care system, its enrollment process, including enrollment priority groups, required co-payments (if applicable) and what services are covered.
